Sonny John Moore mejor conocido como Skrillex es un productor de música dubstep, quizás uno de los mas famosos en el genero, creando controversia en cada paso que da, dentro de las principales controversias es que muchos fans comenta que Moore es el creador del Dubstep, cuando para muchos es una falta de respeto, otra se las cosas que se le cuestionan es que el artista no hace Dubstep en si si no una mezcla de diversos sonidos que no van tan apegados al genero.
Dentro de sus logros se pueden recocer los tres gramys ganados, dentro de los que se incluyen un Grammy por Mejor album, en esta categoría compitió con deadmau5 pero no dio la talla, recordemos que Skrillex fue apoyado por Deadmau5 en el año de 2005 con su sello discográfico Mau5trap.
Dentro de los temas mas famosos se encuentra Make It Bun Dem y Bangarang, otras de las colaboraciones mas sobresalientes son con Korn y Damian Marley. Odiado por muchos y adorado por otros de este artista podemos concluir que sin duda es uno de los principales productores que lleva la batuta de este genero, pero no es el único y ni el mejor.
